The Russian ones appear as longer because the time their applications spent in Moscow is counted as well. So, let's say, someone applied in January, app was sent to Moscow, spent there 4 months and then was transferred to Warsaw and spent there another 4 months - makes 8 months for counting...

My huge advice then: keep checking on your lawyer. Actually pretty many people on this forum have nightmares cuz lawyer put their files to the drawer and didnt send for few months nobkdy knows why or made some awful mistakes. Dont wanna worry you too much, but I've seen many lawyers mistakes...

One month only? Are you common law, or long distance relationship? I am not sure if I understand ur posts correctly,but to apply as CL you have to live together for at least a year.

Sorry, i dont visit forum everyday now :) From SA to visa took me 4.5 months. sA took really long for us cuz there was huge lock up in cic then. But Warsaw - 4.5 months only. Yes, they sent me email confirming that my application was received by them. After that no contact until I think PPR.

I gave them birth certificate, this full version, and i think that's it. Dont remember anymore for sure if I added anything else. But no problem with birth certificate, no problems at all with anyhting.

I use my Polish bank, but only the debit/credit card. I wanted to transfer or withdraw, but I think that prizes of both actions are too big, often not flat rates, but percentage of amount transferred/taken. And as my card works fine, with good exchange rate and no other fees, I simply use it here.

oh, that is not good! I was also expecting this in ur case when I saw ur timeline. U r still pretty "fresh", so just appeal again in maybe a month or two? Someone here described similar situation, and they repeated everything after a while, with success, before getting COPR.

freshman, you get stamp in your COPR, and one cop stays with the officer, and the other one you keep for your record. so this is your proof :)
