Thanks. When I filled my citizenship application form there was a particular question that asked for me to tick "yes" or "no" whether I wanted CIC to collect my information from CBSA? and I ticked yes. So hopefully they should be able to get that for me or confirm from CBSA. I guess its too late to request one now.
My understanding is that CIC can get your CBSA report in a week so that is faster than if you try to get it. if the officer sees the need to consult your CBSA, he or she will do it.

If you have stamps on your passport in a language other than English or french, you are required to translate them. This is a must

By the way, I still haven't received my letter. I am afraid it got lost in the mail. I generally have very bad experiences with Canada Poste

Thanks for your response Mrbravo. Luckily the stamps on my passport are in English language.

Now about your invitation letter if you don't get it by Wednesday afternoon you might want to call CIC and let them know because I was instructed to bring the invitation letter (which has my name, client ID, time, date and venue) to the test venue. But that should not prevent you from going for the test.

But If you don't get the letter before your test date, let me know if you would like me to share with you the details of the instructions we were given in the invitation.

Hopefully Canada Post won't be your own "headache" you will get the letter on monday ;D

I would not worry about Canada post, It is the most reliable postal mail service in Canada.

Thank you for your response Cha2. I will keep you posted about my letter status.

Canada Post has been always been a headache for me. My last experience with them, is that I sent my passport to a Translator in Toronto since there is no translators here in St John's, it got translated and was sent back to me by X-press. I had the tracking number and was saying " Received at local facility" for about 2 weeks. I called thousands times and complained. They insisted to have the sender who issue the complaint and not the receiver. The sender "translator" is very busy and was helpful.

To cut story short, after exactly 13 days I log in to check the status of my shipment (which I do everyday), suddenly it was saying that they attempted to deliver but no one was there....This wasn't correct because the address is my work and I asked the receptionist and she confirmed that Canada post never showed up. Anyway, finally I picked up from the post office and they told me that they laid a lot of people off and that is why they don't have enough people to distribute the shipments. In other words, what they claimed on-line was false as they never attempted to deliver it in the first place and was kept at the post office for 2 weeks.

This is one story from at least 4 I have.

Lol

Are you kidding me? They lost (stole?) my 20 kilo parcel which was really huge, and there are so many stories like mine. Definitely not the most reliable mail service.
