When I filled my citizenship application form there was a particular question that asked for me to tick "yes" or "no" whether I wanted CIC to collect my information from CBSA? and I ticked yes. So hopefully they should be able to get that for me or confirm from CBSA. I guess its too late to request one now.
My understanding is that CIC can get your CBSA report in a week so that is faster than if you try to get it. if the officer sees the need to consult your CBSA, he or she will do it.
If you have stamps on your passport in a language other than English or french, you are required to translate them. This is a must
By the way, I still haven't received my letter. I am afraid it got lost in the mail. I generally have very bad experiences with Canada Poste
