Lol I thought means they will transfer my file to local office soonchakrab said:they have used up your money.
it could mean a lot of things, but the main thing is that your money isn't just laying around any more. it's been used, so can't ask for a refund. now what that implies to these days, no one knows for sure.Jattz-inc said:Lol I thought means they will transfer my file to local office soon

I woul dsay received line means that your file is in transit to the local office. In other words, it is about to be transferred. If you received a finger print that means that your file will be transferred to local as soon as your finger print is sent out to CIC.wadelmaki said:lilua,
Not always mean transfer to local office. Mine dissapeared mid Feb and my file still in Sydney, however a request for FP was sent to me early March which might have something to do with the dissapearance. Some other posters they associated an RQ with the received line disappeared as well. So, in general it is not for sure means a transfer to local office, but ut means someone has at least touched your file.

I would say that the received line disappearance implies that your file had been studied and a decision is made whether more documents are required such as finger print or that the file is RD'ed or that the file is good and ready for transfer to local office. In other words, it means some decision has been made whether a positive or a negative one.wadelmaki said:mbravo,
My file is still in Sydney till today despite the fact that the Received line disappeared two months ago. Few other posters got RQ from Sydney immediately after the "received line disappeared", that is why I am not inclined to link this to file transfer (I may be wrong though!).
