Hey Guys,

I am a Nov-2012 applicant and my passport is with CIC since 6-Dec-2013 for stamping(I received PPR on 2-Dec-2013). Is there anyway I can know what is going with my passport. Any help will be really appreciated.

Thanks !

Got RPRF and Biodata request today.

Edit: Timeline below

Applied: 17-10-2012
AOR: 06-12-2012
MR: 29-10-2013
Biodata and RRPF: 14-01-2014

Wonder how long before decision.

Finally landed..

My timeline as follows:

Applied on Oct 5th 2012
AOR Received -- Dec 5th 2012
Medicals requested-- Oct 27th 2013
RPRF/BIO DATA - Oct 27th 2013
Medicals done - Nov 5th 2013
Medicals uploaded - Dec2nd 2013
Passport request -- Dec 17th 2013
Passport Sent- Dec 23rd 2013
Passport received - Jan 10th 2014
Landed - Jan 14th 2014

I went to Niagara. Walked down to US, Crossing Canada Border at rainbow bridge. Lady gave a rejection letter to US, though I have US Visa. I specifically asked her if the rejection will leave any mark in the system, she said No. So took the rejection letter and went back to canada immigration. Provided all the PR documents, address proof. They did not ask for my Work permit even. Waited for 15 minutes and thats all. I got my PR formalities completed.

Thanks to the Forum.

Congrats Chandraat,
Our time should be coming soon as well. i guess its a normal practice to have the application extended for more than 13 months because of bridging work permit. anyone did their medical and still waiting for passport request?

did they ask for PCC or u submitted along with application?

I'm in the exact same situation as you. I wrote to CEC and finally this time they got back to me. They said the that application was awaiting a review. When reviewing the report on the case it almost looks like they messed up the review on my application, as the reviewer is saying my job classification doesn't meet the NOC code or thats what it sounds like when reading it, but I'm a Group Home Worker and that clearly is stated under Noc 4212 so I don't know what to think. Its VERY frustrating not being able to reach out to anyone.

Did you guys order GCMS / talk to your MP? GCMS may provide the reason for the delay. MP may help to speed up the application.
