what was the reason of the delay in your case?
did you order gcms notes by any chance?

No idea, why was it delayed...I'm waiting to receive my fourth GCMS to see what was happening.

what does your 3rd note say? Does it say anything? Like why your mr had to be issued after the deadline which is 1 yr from the date of ur aor?

wow, CIC works in mysterious way.
You can see my timeline (on the left), and Decision was made recently (sept 6, 2013).
I do hope I get the PPR sooner. You had to wait so long.... anyway, congratulations and hope
you'll get to the last step very soon!

I take SOME comfort seeing it took them some 15 months to send you MR. That is absolutely insane...

May I ask what your country of origin is? Have you lived in several countries before settling down in Canada? Did you have to apply for BOWP?

Truthfully I think my case was just lying somewhere without officers looking at it.
There is a note in my GCMS notes, dated Jan 2012, and it says, everything is fine, issue a medical request.
And after that there was nothing.... for 8 month.
So.... I don't even think my case is special in any sense.
but to answer your questions. My country of origin is Russia, and I lived in a couple of countries before (during school years), but I am positive that wasn't what delayed my application, oh... and I am still waiting for their next step....
to me CIC is a ' black box', there is no way to really peak inside, and there is no way to nudge your application. I think every time you inquire about the status, they look up on ecas and tell you it's in process, so sit tight and wait.
anyway, good luck to all who are still waiting.

Myself and a few other people are quite concerned because of how long it's been. I'm specifically concerned because of the a huge hole in the GCMS notes...seems no work has been done on my file in some 4 months now.

It's a frustrating wait...
