My medicals was received Oct 25th (Done in Canada) . Husband was done and received Oct 28th( reside and done in Nigeria - The cic Agent made a mistake of telling me they got his own) . Dec - I went to my MP to ask for assistance on my file since ecas was not updated (while i wait for my caips note to arrive). When i noticed things were been delayed, i went ahead to pay RFPR for myself and husband and i send an ecopy to CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca and cc'd ottpilot@cic.gc.ca. I then mailed a copy to Mississauga and ottawa. By the time my caips note arrived, i read visa officer comment and i he commented that my RCMP has expired and an activity should be created (this comment was way back in September but i did not receive any RCMP request until i initiated a ASK. He also commented that spouse police clearance was not submitted). The moment i saw this comment and the date it was made, my Husband went ahead to get his own done. I had sent email to Ottpilot letting them know that base on the comment on the CAIPS note i want to know where to send my spouse police clearance. I got a reply telling me to send original to Ottawa office or email the scanned copy by replying to the email. I got another email after requesting for new RCMP for me but this time only for Canada and not any other country i have residedc(yet to receive my RCMP result in mail so i have not sent them my result).
Yet to hear back from my MP. Also, if your wife have not signed Use of representative and consent form, they will only give you informaton about yourself and not your wife. ( i had to get this done sometimes in December, get one done asap).
Base on all this, my advise is go ahead and pay + get the RCMP done for yourself and wife and scan a copy of the RCMP result and FEE receipt to them and include in the body of your email that you realized its over a year and your RCMP would have expired...and attached is a copy of new one and attached is a copy of your Landed fee. etc.. Send another copy of the FEE receipt to the email above.
The only thing you will now have to wait for is Biodata and passport request.
