If you look at the trend, they have finished remaining June, all July and some August MR's in just 2 weeks starting April 1st quota renewal. As well, most of June applicants got PPR and even got COPR already. If the trend continues, October applicants can expect start getting MR's middle May. Let's hope the quota will not be slashed and no new procedures implemented in the next 3 months

Hello Seniors

I am a March 2013 applicant and just received AOR. With my application I sent senior school certificate instead of birth certificate. Would like to know if anyone did the same and if (by any chance) at later stage VO asked for Birth certificate?

I applied for PR in Oct 2012 and my application status is "Application Received". As someone suggested above that we will start receiving medical requests in ~June. My wife and daughter are planning to visit India for two months (would return in Aug)

So, in case I receive MR in June (after they have gone to India), can they have their medical in India and I have my medical exam here in Canada? How long can I wait before submitting the Medicals?

Please advise...

Hi,
I submitted my application in Oct 2012. In Feb I added my Spouse documents who is currently in India. I have not received any medical request, if it comes Can I go for medicals for her from India. What about after procedure like sending Passport for PR stamping. How should I handle this. Do I need to bring her on Tourist Visa for PR stamping? Is there any way I can import her Passport to canada?

Hi,
Yes you can get your medical from anywhere in the world. For the PR visa stamping you will need her passport here. Once your medical is done then find out if someone is coming here who can you authorised to carry her passport along with a athorisation letter.
