Anyone else facing a similar scenario as me? Please read the two posts above this for better clarity.
If you are, these are the steps that CIO asks you to take (ofcourse, its absolutely generic in nature)
" If you are the applicant and you provide us with your full name, date of birth, and a file number or Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) client ID, or you are a person to whom we are authorized to release information (written consent on the immigration file) and are able to provide the applicant's full name, DOB and the file number or CIC client ID, you will receive a reply by e-mail within 20 working days. If you are not the applicant or you are not authorized to receive the information, you will not receive a further reply to your e-mail. If you have applied within the last six weeks, we will not be responding to your enquiry- please ensure adequate time has passed before making an enquiry."

Just putting a general question out there, please let me know what you think about it?

Have there been cases, where applications have been sent back as incomplete after the payment has been deducted?
If any of you of know of such scenarios, please respond with the details.

Unlikely that they take the payment and then reject (at this stage). What is more likely:

- You provided an incorrect email or mailing address
- The AOR email was filtered as spam or the mail was lost
- Somebody at CEC forgot to send AOR out to begin with

I suggest you check your status online. You need your client ID and other personal information to do that.

I see mine says this too what does that mean?

An application goes to 'In Process' in ECAS when a VO starts reviewing the file. If everything is in order, you can expect MR soon.

Hi,
I called up CIC service desk, and asked about my application. They responded by saying that we dont have any clue on those applications, but forwarded me an email with the CIO's email enquiries details. The information I have posted is from the automated response that came from the CIO as a response to my query.

interesting! have anyone tried to do so?

Hmm, I know of a user here at the forum, who faced similar situation but she was told verbally by the CIC help desk that the AOR was sent at the same time as others. That user is now trying to get in touch with CPP Ottawa, about the re issuance of her AOR.

Hi,

So the CIO hasnt responded yet, but I had also sent an email to CPP-O. CPP-O have sent out my file number to me.
They didn't reissue the AOR, that was my request, but nonetheless, it is extremely relieving that now at least I have a file number ;D.

Hi all,

I've been bored with the wait. Taking a tip from other months and created a google doc as its easier for all to update. Take a peek I have added a couple columns. I forget the name of the person who asked to add the ECAS Status on the site but I added it to the form.

I'll update whatever people find easier, I think this doc is easier.
