Oakville resident here and my local office is Hamilton. The very next day after the test my application went to ‘decision made’.

This is my timeline:

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 19, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 28, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on January 7, 2018.
  4. We sent you a notice on February 15, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on March 12, 2018 at 8:25 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
Just waiting on my citizenship oath invite. At the interview I was told 4-6 weeks, so hopefully she was right.

@xxpazaway I think we were there at the same time for the test. March 12 8:25-30 am Hamilton office.
Did yours turn to decision made? Any updates yet?

AOR is by email for everybody that provided an email address (as that's sent by CPC-Sydney).
Further communication depends on the local office's procedures -- but it seems some offices are now switching over from letters to emails, so it's difficult to predict what it'll be.
