That was a mistake. AOR still takes about 62 days. No changes in processing times for now.

there are profiles where people declare AOR after about 40 days. Lot's of them but generally, this is the beginning of the current year.
AOR right now takes about 62 days. One september applicant got it today after 56.

it going to be 56 long days.
If you think the 56 days days for AOR are long, you're forgetting about the 12 months you'll have
to wait in total to get your application approved 8) 8)

Now that's long! ::)

I do not know why but I have a feeling that once AOR is issued, PR is 100% sure, just matter of time.
Not at all. They can still reject you for many reasons. The first stage is only a completion check, to check
if all forms are signed and the package is complete.
You can be rejected for criminal history, medical and health reasons or misrepresentation.

Nothing is 100%.

I do not expect problems in any of the mentioned fields.
Do I look like a criminal?
LOL 8) I don't know you. And I don't care, I was just pointing out that nothing is a 100% sure after only receiving AOR.

Unfortunately you are very much mistaken - applications are rejected regularly - noc duties don't match up, shortage of hours/time worked -- there are a whole host of reasons.
In fact - someone was recently rejected even after paying the RPRF
I'd ask you not to make statements like that as it could cause people undue complacency.

That's what I said, or meant to say, that even if you get AOR it's not sure that your application will be approved.
There is no certainty until you hold the CoPR in your hands.

After rprf... Any specific or peculiar reason?

Iirc it was eligibility
When MR is sent out, they are usually told that eligibility, criminality and security are still pending. Recently CIC sent out rprf requests, Biodata etc quite quickly and if I remember, this person's eligibility still wasn't completed.
You get rprf refunded but what a horrible blow that would be to be rejected when you see light at the end of the tunnel

Hi All,
Has anyone received their acknowledgement of receipt after applying and how long did it take for you to receive it from the date you applied?

Thanks!

August applicants are just finishing receiving theirs.
Current AOR timelines are around the 60-70 day mark
