Hi, My OCI card dispatched from printing cell on 24 June on BLS website it is showing Processing at Consulate Office when i can expect my travel date is 10 July. I called BLS many times they saying just wait your OCI is still with Consulate. I applied on 7 May.

There is no signature needed..my parents did it for me in india.maybe they ask Canadian passport photocopy.
Did you figure out how you will receive your oci when you are not in the country ? If so , can you please share the steps.
Received my kid's OCI today. My application I sent via postal is still "Processing".

Originally sent via postal on 21st Apr but the application was returned due to an error and we decided to do a walk-in.

Purolator delivery: 30 June 2025
Purolator does not deliver on Saturday. It is an option you have to ask for at the time of creating shipping labels and pay an additional $25 - which in my opinion is not worth it.
With it being a 9 week process (not including the return of the application), it's been an arduous process with minimal transparency and no guarantee on the promised "6-8 week processing time". If you are relying on timelines to book your tickets, I recommend you don't.
My application is still on-going (Granted status) and will probably be delivered next week but I won't be in the country to receive it. Which I'm sure is going to be another headache

I am in process of applying for OCI of minor born in Canada, Do they need professional details of parents like letter from Employer similar to that needed for Fresh OCI card of adults?
I didnt see anything of that in checklist, but do they ask for that in case of a application for OCI of minor born in Canada?

I'm expecting it to be dispatched by this Friday (4th July 2025).

follow up on my son's Minor OCI application
-No Email or Phone call from BLS
After the original photo was rejected by the Consulate General of India in Toronto, a new photo was submitted in person at the BLS Office on 13th June 2025 between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM.
Since then, there has been no progress. The BLS tracking status still shows "Incomplete/Incorrect Data" as of 30th June 2025. Despite multiple attempts to contact BLS via email and phone, I have not received any helpful response.
When I called, I was told that the consulate had rejected the photo. However, even after resubmitting the new photo, I was given vague reasons for the delay, such as the Premium Lounge staff being on vacation. It appears that no one at BLS has taken any action on the file since 13th June.
