No not yet. It says that it might take 3-5 days for them to process and send it to CGI, so not sure if it will take more time to even show up on status enquiry.
So weird. I called them today and they said it was still in the “verification process” and my tracking would show up in the next day or so. Exactly what they said last week as well. Very annoying.
Did you get an acknowledgement email from BLS before your tracking started showing on the BLS website?
Oh man that's pathetic. I wonder if they will still be able to give the oci within 5 week as per the processing time they mentions. Mine is like 2 weeks already and cannot see the status.
Yes I did receive acknowledgment email from BLS on Jan 22. They received my application on Jan 15. I was able to track my application on BLS website from Jan 23. From Jan 29, I was able to track my application on the consulate website in "under process" status. I have been checking status on the latter since.
So my tracking on the BLS website showed up today. I have not received any email though. This whole process is so poorly handled.
Hello Folks.. I have a good news to share.. My son's OCI got processed today as per Consulate's website. Here is my timeline:
Documents sent: 14th Jan 2021
Documents received by BLS: 15th Jan 2021
Acknowledgement email from BLS: 22nd Jan 2021
Acknowledgement per consulate website: 29th Jan 2021
Processed on: 17th Feb 2021 (Processed in 20 days.. total days 33. Extra days most definitely due to COVID)
Dispatch from New Delhi: Pending
We are elated beyond words. I wish everyone else too get their visas soon. Thanks for all your support !

How do you check the status of the application. I am trying to check online in BLS Canada, but unable to? What details should I provide? This is for OCI and Passport surrender.

For Surrender, select passport application, and provide your Indian Passport #
For OCI, provide your Canadian Passport #
You can track your OCI at the consulate's website also, once that becomes active https://ociservices.gov.in/statusEnqury

Status tracking doesn't become available immediately. It can take upto 10 days for application status to show on BLS and another week after that to show up on consulates website.
Thanks, but I haven't received any email in spam either, and don't think they are organized enough to send one. I had to call them 3 times in the last two weeks just to get the tracking to show up.
