Wow! I thought it would be an easy process for all but GTA and Vancouver locations. Is every OCI-less PIO now vying for a 10 year entry visa in case MEA acts up again?

Hello All, I'm preparing documents to apply for OCI (Toronto Jurisdiction) , but not getting any appointments in Brampton or Toronto. Is it possible if I can go to Winnipeg walk in center for OCI processing?

@Smanampa Glad to know you got it finally. Clearly a case of BLS mixup. Many BLS phone support folks appear to just BS -- one has to keep calling to get some with any clue. Even then, when they mess up they never own it up, and make up cock and bull stories.

You have to go to the place based on your postal code.
The other option is to mail your application. Do a postal thing.

BLS Winnipeg should accept applications from GTA residents, but it could be busy there too. Check with @Hemusharma51 who just applied there. I do not know whether appointment cancellations are returned to the pool -- if yes, checking frequently at BLS appt. site may help you find a slot.
Finally submitted my entry visa application.. BLS Edmonton staff has no idea on timelines for this visa and I requested for pp pick up but they said they are not even sure if it will be mailed directly from consulate or will come back to them.. In short, they had no idea of what they are doing but accepted application.. Now I hope it gets processed ASAP please
Good luck. Interesting that BLS Edmonton has no idea who mails the passport back --- if the BLS desk at Vancouver consulate is taking care of it for them, that may be a good thing. Vancouver sending it to Edmonton office and then they mailing out will only cause more delays. Hope you get it soon.
