After choosing Others, you would have entered manually some designation, what you have entered?

And Just attach the marriage certificate and Spouse current passport copy. No need of any Subsisting affidavit

I don't recall entering any designation. I might as well redo the registration.

If its Minor, application then ofcourse you wouldnt have entered anything.
If its Adult, you would have. If you have article of incorporation, better to mention Business there.

Your spouse should apply selecting Self under “Relationship with the root Indian” as she was Indian citizen before having an Indian passport
These are the documents she should consider uploading

• CURRENT PASSPORT - Combine pdf and include (first page) of the Canadian Passport and citizenship certificate(front and back)
• EMPLOYMENT/ WORK LETTER
• SPOUSE PASSPORT- Combine pdf and include (first page) of the Canadian Passport and citizenship certificate(front and back) (if you are married)
• PREVIOUS INDIAN PASSPORT OF SELF - Combine pdf and include (first and last page) of the Indian Passport and Surrender Certificate

Hi All,

I have few questions regarding surrender certificate process:

1. Is there a provision to make online payment to get surrender certificate instead of making a demand draft? If yes, what is the process to make the online payment?

2. Instead of going to the BLS Toronto office in person, can I rather book a courier service to get my documents picked up from my place and will be delivered to BLS Toronto and in return service I receive the surrender certificate back to my home address? If such service exists, what is the process to avail this service and where to make the payment and get the pickup/drop-off scheduled?

3. How many photos in total will be required in the surrender certificate process. I know, one 2x2 photo needs to be pasted on the application form. Along with this one pasted photo, how many more photos do we need to send along with the required documents in the envelope, if sending the documents using postal service?

4. Does the photo that we provide in surrender certificate has to be same as the photo that we will using while applying for a OCI card? Can we use different photos in surrender certificate process and OCI process?
