The status on the visa website today says, “Your visa is Processed and Printed. If not collected earlier,Please contact the respective office on next working day where you have submitted your Application.”

Applied for entry visa through walk-in at Brampton on Oct26th. So, turnaround was 2 business days. I paid for delivery so hopefully will get it by the end of the week (mailed to BLS first and then mailed to me).

Just wanted to know the lineup ? Was it crazy?

Yes. People come very early in the morning probably by 4-5 AM. I reached at around 7 and I was about 30th in the queue.

BLS Winnipeg should accept applications from GTA residents, but it could be busy there too. Check with @Hemusharma51 who just applied there. I do not know whether appointment cancellations are returned to the pool -- if yes, checking frequently at BLS appt. site may help you find a slot.

I request you to kindly book an appointment with BLS Winnipeg because there is chaos in this center and people are waiting from morning 3:00 am for submitting applications.

Applied : 26th Oct at BLS Surrey (4 hours in lineup)
Processed : 27 Oct by evening.
Status on website : Your visa is Processed and Printed.
BLS Status: In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre

Should get it by tomorrow.

Why did u send original documents for postal OCI application? I thought that no originals are required.

Originals are required - passport, birth certiricate - you can verify from checklist

please bring your citizenship certificate and Indian passport to be on safer side
And processing times as per counter ladies 10-12 days

If postal application, you may get an email from BLS, no emails are sent out for OCI site Acknowledgement. You have to check the status on that site.

Hello Guys , I applied oci for myself and minor on Oct 5 at winnipeg BLS by walk in . Acknowledgment date is October 25 . I have a tickets on December 5 .
My question is,
Should i wait for oci or apply a entry visa?
Can i apply entry visa if i already applied for oci , are they ok for both ?

I submitted my entry visa like an hour ago and I received an email from VFS that my application is accepted and is with the agent. Is this normal?
