Update at 12:31 pm. I am finally inside. Once inside, you are handed a token which shows up on the screen. Looks like it takes another 30-45 min for you to actually see someone at the counter. Will post another update once am done.
Update at 13:09 - Application submitted successfully. The lady counter said it’s taking 2 months to receive OCI but I would rather trust the timelines here. Again BLS Toronto.
What a relief that must be. The worst part is over. Good luck.
Totally. I feel overwhelmed. Now to hope it shows up before November 29th which is when I fly to India.

I sent postal application on 3rd october. It reached bls on 6th october. Right now shows processing at consulate general.
Also any idea how much time it is taking to process?
13 days from sending postal application? Or 13 days from processing starts?Current numbers: 13 days for ack, 21 days for process, up to 1 week for shipping
Done. See the tracker to see other's timeline. For postal applications, treat the applied date as when it reaches the consulate. Delays at BLS has no effect on processing at the consulate.

nothing seems to be moving so far. Is anyone else from Vancouver mission in the same boat? i am supposed to fly in first week of november. Should I get my tickets cancelled?
The tracker is mainly for in-person applications which generally reach the consulate by the next day. There is too much variability in how fast BLS handles postal applications -- keep a watch on when BLS accepts it and passes on to the consulate, and go from there. Also keep a tab on the tracker to see how things are progressing for others. Things can change and your case may not follow the same timeline -- we are just making our best guess.

Some one with Sep 12 acknowledgement date at Vancouver consulate got an update yesterday. Hope you'll see update on Monday.its been 30 days since acknowledgement.

Vancouver has been taking about 30 to 35 days post Ack to "processed" then add a few days to that to get the document dispatched to BLS. So you may see some movement soon. I do not follow it closely but there is tracker for Vancouver (see the link in one of the posts above) that may give an idea. Also there are many recent posts where people have posted their timelines for Vancouver. Search or scan this thread.its been 30 days since acknowledgement.
