Wow no kidding? Entire night at the BLS? I was under the impression that I could get there at 7am and still stand a chance. This is something.

Yes. This is the thing happening. Due to people having appointment are in priority, if you go by 7am, you won't get your turn for sure. I asked the first person in line, he shown up at 5pm (right after BLS closes).

I guess it should have Employer address and contact details, since main application has those fields to be filled up.

I am not sure now but my wife and I went around 10 pm to get our turn the next day at about 10 am. This is on Sept 30th and Toronto BLS. I am not sure if things have become better since then.

I'd suggest to go check the night before and see what's the situation and then decide accordingly.

I have submitted OCI for minor at BLS Brampton walkin on September 25, the status displayed on BLS site is "processing at consulate" since September 26. Has anyone got OCI acknowledgement who submitted application around Sept25?

Dispatched from Delhi: 6th October
Document received in Ottawa: 12th October
Ready for collection - Pctober 13th
Applied walk-in from Montreal. Ottawa jurisdiction. Did not opt for courier service.

Sometimes there is a minor delay of a day or two compared to others with same application date. Keep checking, it will get Acknowledged soon and appear on OCI site.
