Congrats !!! - RQ2012 and Comestai !!!, I know having waited for so long, this wait may be much more torturous.RQ2012 said:Congratulations. I agree with you. They can do a large ceremony at once and clear off those already Approved/Granted. No reason to keep people waiting.Canadiandesi2006 said:Congrats !!! - RQ2012 and Comstai !!!, I know having waited for so long, this wait may be much more torturous.
Even after approving it taking over 3 months just to schedule a oath ceremony. If its just a formality, why not CIC hire some large premises to conduct ceremonies in large batches and clear the back log fast.

Perhaps, CIC try hard to justify the tax payers why they still need millions in budget and support thousands of worthless souls at CIC.They does not want to easily give up their grip on helpless candidates.Moe... said:I agree with you. What questions were you asked in your citizenship interview?Canadiandesi2006 said:Perhaps, CIC try hard to justify the tax payers why they still need millions in budget and support thousands of worthless souls at CIC.They does not want to easily give up their grip on helpless candidates.
In reality, if things improves at CIC, they would not be needing so many useless staff there.
My interview with the officer was pretty good, as he was very courteous individual. He asked me few questions about my family, education and profession. Then he told me you prepared well for the test, scored full marks and processing could take up to 4 months time. I guess, normally that's how is their approach with all candidates.Rayan14 said:What questions were you asked in your citizenship interview?
1. Sept 2011: CIC Received my aplicationRayan14 said:Unacceptable. It seems the CIC doesn't give a $h @ & how frustrating and mind numbingly stressful it is to wait 3 yrs for a piece of paper.
Would you plz post your timeline?
I received the same answer.... I past the test on March 5 2014 but still waiting for ceremony.comestai said:Need help to understand.,
I called CIC this afternoon and received the reply " you are technically been granted citizenship" and waiting for ceremony date.
Has anybody received reply like this? any advise or experience?
Test passed on Feb 13th at St.clair.
Same here. I think if they'd wanted to reject it then that would have been the right moment to tell you of the outcome. Given that they haven't done so I wouldn't worry much.Canadiandesi2006 said:My interview with the officer was pretty good, as he was very courteous individual.
