Would you mind sharing some details of your process please? I think we're all dying to know :)

Hi guys..
I called the call centre today and had a very nice lady..
Even I did not reached 15months she accepted to open my documents..
I was so worried cause even I submitted the addition information nothing has been updated on my profile.

So she said everything was received but they have not yet update it.
And she also said PR can take 18months now. They change the processing times to 18 months..

Hi,

I got email from one of the Program Integrity Officer(SINP) stating that Please provide evidence by October, 2016 that you shows why you are going to come to Saskatchewan.

I already got nominated but why they are asking same the question which i have answered earlier.

Krishna

18 months !!!! this is unacceptable why this long!!! re entry visa process inside Canada is 8 days right now and since PNP applicants had the provincial part just we need the PR visa and for what reason we have to wait for 18 months. Last year the process was less than 12 months so what happened that the processing time increased!!!

I didn't recive MR, but in email request for RPRF and new police certificate they put as important notice to do medical if I didn't yet. I did it and submit it. After 3 days my status changed in medical passed.

Were you given IME number at that point?

Hello, just wondering what is your nationality. For what I know the processing times now differs depend of what country or nationality you from. I have a friend have a coworker from jamaica, they were already Got they PR but their jamaican coworker still in process. They were informed too that the process will take 18months for them

Dude... I don't think that's true. It's DISCRIMINATION against the applicants.

Check the link provided here in canadavisa forum too. It varies depends on the country. But that was happened to my co worker. They all applied at the same month and year. They got their PR last May 2016. Till now those of her jamaicans co worker like they were 3 jamaicans, till now they are not PR yet even medical reqs they dont have it yet.

It's not discrimination. Every application has a different process, and the nationality also affects to the process.

The officers do not delay intentionally due to the nationality itself, but some countries have certain circumstances that needs deeper investigation and officers' focus; this makes a delay.

For example, if statistically one country has higher numbers of immigration fraud, then it takes more time on background check than the others.

There may be complications with background checks to different countries. Some may be less accessible than others and hence taking more time.

Got email from GCMS notes. Funny enough, they incorrectly assigned my case to Ankara and then send back to CIO-Sydney lol
