If your PR is approved, why would anyone still care about the BOWP application? Just curious. I thought PR is the goal?Wait at least this month before reaching out to them!
Although seeing the COPR number in the tracker is definitely a good sign, but until you get your eCOPR, you cannot be 100% certain that your application is approved. Hence the reason IRCC rep would say that decision has not been made on your file and you need to wait. I've heard people getting PFL (procedural fairness letter) even after receiving P2 email.CEC inland

Can see COPR number on the tracker. No portal email yet.
Called IRCC, was told the decision has not been made on my file and I need to wait.
Doesn't it mean a decision made when it shows on GCKEY?
Well IRCC is taking time to send p2 mails these days. If you see the immitracker, there are lot of cases in the same situation. I guess it might take few days for p2 after the responding to p1.Thursday!
I’m curious—why would IRCC assign a COPR number if the final decision hasn’t been made yet? From what I’ve seen, COPR numbers are typically generated when the application is approved. Could it be that the decision is made, but just not updated in the system or officially communicated yet?Although seeing the COPR number in the tracker is definitely a good sign, but until you get your eCOPR, you cannot be 100% certain that your application is approved. One example would be that a certain candidate applying under PNP for province A, but provides address during P1 and P2 for province B. In this scenario, the officer might issue a PFL for failure to prove intent to reside in the nominating province, and the PR application being rejected in entirety if the candidate is unable to clear out officer's doubts.
Let's say you are doing a mortgage or any credit card application. You might get an initial approval, but the final decision might be subject to certain conditions. Only when you satisfy those conditions, you will get the 'final' approval. System might generate card numbers or mortgage numbers after the initial approval, and the portal/system you are using for doing that application might show the numbers generated for the product, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you are actually approved for the product you requested, because certain condition might still be pending.I’m curious—why would IRCC assign a COPR number if the final decision hasn’t been made yet? Eligibility and background verification showing in the process as of Jan 13

Portal Email received Mar 12 and replied on the same date
COPR expiry date updated
But I am unsure about this update;
Latest update: Final decision - March 11, 2025:Your application is in progress…
Does this mean I went through the P1 process even though the final decision hasn't been made yet? If so, how?
It is really bugging me that even the tracker says eligibility and background are still in progress. Again, why did they send me a portal email first if the review isn't completed? Or are updates just being delayed? I'm confused about whether these are good signs or not.
