Dec 31 - Pre-Approval Letter
Jan 2 - sponsor eligibility approved letter
Jan 9 - MIL performed
Jan 15 - Received “Information Letter” demanding MIL update. MIL “eMedical Information Sheet” uploaded in response.
Jan 15- MIL acknowledgement of receipt of proof
Jan 22 - MIL passed
Mar 17 - Background Verification Completed (tracker)

Is anyone with a spousal sponsorship application from November 2024 still waiting to hear back from the Port of Spain visa office?

We completed biometrics and medicals back in January 2025, but we haven’t received any updates since then. Just trying to get a sense of whether others are in a similar situation and what your timelines have looked like.

We applied on November 5th, from Colombia. We are still waiting, Bio and medical were done in December and January, PA eligibility and BCG processing, the last update was on April 3rd, and they requested an updated form. No news so far, I believe our visa office is just slow (Bogota). I’m hopeful something will turn out soon.
