I got a reply from my interviewing officer. She said my file is pending review of the residence.
Does anyone know what that means?

PM01 is assigned to the lowest officer working on simple and straightforward cases which is good whereas PM03 is assigned to senior, high ranking officers which may cause some delay and include an interview.
Ok so PM01 is does not always require interview?
For my file in gcms notes PM 01 grant review ready is mentioned
But for my parent's application PM 03 grant interview ready was mentioned, and they have an in person interview on 14th Nov.

As long as it doesn't shift to PM03 interview ready and if you haven't given your test outside Canada, it shouldn't require an interview unless the officer wants to clear some doubt.

I had PM03 review ready in my gcms and was never asked for interview or fingerprint. I took my test while in Canada.

My oath is on the 14th nov... and I'm a 2022 February applicant so I do think PM03 delays things for whatever reason.

Since they said PM03 interview ready but yes it's not always the case.
Maybe it delays due to having lesser officers but just a guess.
