Yes.... first I started once a month, but these take 30 to 40 days, so I started requesting these every week. I guess they got annoyed. LOL

But I know that works.

For people on here that applied for GCMS Notes, how long did it take IRCC to provide the notes? I know their service standard is 30 days, but do they actually deliver on that? Or does it take longer?

Yes.... sometimes up to 50 days. But mine were always between 30 and 40 days.

I ordered them on May 7th and still waiting, so it may take some time. Hopefully this gives you a little insight.

IRCC is a mess, now they are sending test invitations without BG check. And yes, it is normal to have the test and have Language, Physical Presence and Prohibitions done at the last step usually the same day are cleared.

i agree they are a mess currently!I have seen a lot of cases were Language, Physical Presence, and Prohibitions get done after the Test, but I have not encountered yet a case were IRCC didn’t start the background check… this is what the customer service agent told me.. I was like they didn’t start it or they didn’t make a decision on it, she said no they didn’t start it yet

I made an ATIP request to learn what a good job the IRCC is doing in general (not a request about my file) 55 days ago, and they are still "working" on it. I emailed the officer assigned to my request, they said they will send it in a couple of days 11 days ago, still nothing!

By the way, you can file a complaint if they take more than 30 days to reply. So, make Privacy Act requests every week and then file complaints too when they are delayed, make them work twice to get your $630 money's worth!

I don't remember when I started the notes. But it was monthly... after the test weekly.

I appeared for my citizenship test on May 6th and scored 20/20. When I am checking the status online, is says citizenship test: "Not started"
I didn't receive any email either after completion of my test. How many days do they generally take to update the status?
