Hi,
my work permit expired on 7 October 2019. I applied for Spousal sponsorship in canada as my common in law is already PR. I also applied for work permit in Same application. I got AOR on 21 November that my application reached them. I called cic for status this week and they are saying we didn’t receive any application from Mississauga office here in Edmonton office so we can not give any information. They also said as I applied on 3 October 2019 I should get work permit till February 3rd and if they didn’t receive anything from Mississauga office till February 3rd they will send them email and wait for their reply till 1 month then send other email.
please help understand whats this situation I am working on implied status I have other job offer as current company is letting me go but I am not sure they will hire me on implied status

Stream - PNP (Alberta)
Received the PPR as a message in my account, and it mentioned London as the visa office.
Have submitted my passport at VFS Dubai on 26 Jan 2020. Waiting for COPR

I had an update back from CIC today, they have said background and criminal verifications are valid but security clearance has not yet been initiated. What does valid mean please?

Congrats on the quick progression. I think what they mean by valid is that it's been met. Can anyone else speak on this?

Isn't this different compared to the generic replies we get from VOs? I enquired about my visa office and update on my application. I am in real IP2 for last one week What do you guys think?
