Hi @legalfalcon

Called CIC yesterday and they said that all 4 Eligibility, Criminality, BC, Security are "In Progress" status and they can't check whether it's Met or Passed. When checked about the visa office they said that the file is still in Sydney even after 2 months and they said they can't say whether it's going to be assigned to any other VO or it will be in Sydney only. I see that for most people at least Eligibility is either Met or Passed but for us it's still "In Progress". So far going through all the forums I have never seen someone's all 4 being "In Progress" at least not Security which starts very late in the game! Is this something you or someone has faced?

My timelines are below:

PNP-Outland | CRS: 1023 | NOC: 0213 | IELTS: 11-May-2019 | WES: 24-Jun-2019 | e-APR: 24-Jun-2019 | OINP EOI: 01-Aug-2019 | Nomination Received: 10-Oct-2019 | ITA: 30-Oct-2019 | AOR: 20-Nov-2019 | Medicals Passed: 10-Dec-2019 | BioMetrics Invitation Letter: 10-Dec-2019 | GU1 (eMail): 11-Dec-2019 | BioMetrics Completed: 13-Dec-2019 | First Call to IRCC CIC: 8-Jan-2020 | GU2 (no eMail): 9-Jan-2020 | CIO: Sydney | Eligibility: In Progress | Criminality: In Progress | Background Check: In Progress | Security: In Progress | Final Decision: TBA

Appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks
There is no need to be concerned about as yet. You are just 3 months into the process. Also, what the call centre reps say is not what may actually be in your application.

Ontario's PNP seems like to have similar timelines as FSW, submit an IRCC web form req and ask for an update instead templated response.
Thank you Kennedy

Hello Team,

My application is in progress and current status is Biometrics submitted with a couple of Ghost Updates. I am the Primary applicant.
My spouse had submitted educational documents to WES for evaluation in Sep 2019 since we were falling short of few points but then we got the ITA at 463 on Oct 2nd 2019 and hence my spouse educational credentials was not used. However, it was in progress with WES.
I received an email today from WES that the ECA will be completed by Feb 6, 2020 and will be transmitted to IRCC on the same day. I was just wondering if this additional document going to IRCC from WES will impact our application’s progress.

Please let me know. Below is my timeline for reference.
ITA 2nd Oct
AOR 27th Nov
MEP 5th Dec
Biometrics 13th Dec

Regards
@legalfalcon Can you please look into this scenario and suggest.

Hi guys, I just wanted to update you all on the status of my application and would love to know about what it means as of now

FSW-O
VO London
eAoR 29th November
ADR (imm5669 schedule A) 11th December
MEP 12th December
Bio-metrics 13th December

I had normal updates after MEP and Biometrics which most people get after they clear their medicals and biometrics

I had a ghost update around 20th December and my background status changed from
"We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"
to
"Your application is in progress We will let you know when we start your background check"

and the ADR changed to Not Applicable

Today I logged into my CIC account and my application was updated which is the second "Ghost Update" The background check has changed back to

""We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"

What do you guys make out of it
@legalfalcon

Btw I login into my CIC account twice a day lol

Hi,

We have received AOR in November 2019.
My husband is the primary applicant and I am secondary/dependent. We are Indian citizen living in Australia.
My husband's Indian Passport is expiring in March and We were suggested to apply for new passport with Indian Embassy by the staff at VFS global (who do biometrics for Canada in Australia) in Melbourne when we visited for Biometrics.

He applied for his new passport in early January and has now received it. So we wanted to understand how should we update his new passport details on our Express Entry application OR communicate updated passport details to case Officer. We are applying via ONIP therefore do we also need to inform Ontario?

It will be very helpful if anyone who have come across similar issue to share your experience.

Thank you in Advance.

Hey guys! I got PPR a few days ago. Here's my timeline:

AOR - 17 Nov 2019
MEP/BIL - 9 Dec 2019
Biometrics done - 11 Dec 2019
PPR - 24 Jan 2020

Stream - PNP (Alberta)

Received the PPR as a message in my account, and it mentioned London as the visa office.

Have submitted my passport at VFS Dubai on 26 Jan 2020. Waiting for COPR :)

Should the new passport's same as old ones, you should be fine. If i were you i would submit an IRCC web form to CIC and ask them advise cuz you now have book 2 and new expiry and issue dates. Please submit your question here!
