You are one step closer to the PPR email. Your file is with NDVO so can't say exactly when but you shall receive your PPR email. Please keep a tab on sponsor's email inbox and spam box too.

We received PPR today. Thank God! How many days before u got ur passport back?

Congrats! We sent it on a Monday got it back Thursday. Was very fast. Dont forget about the GCP seminar!

I logged into my GCKEY acc and saw the status has changed to :
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information...

But i did not get an email or update regarding the change in background check status. Waiting for the their reply

i have a query.. Can i travel on tourist visa to Canada and if my ppr comes later , do i have to travel back to India to submit my passport at NDVO or can i complete the further formalities in Canada itself???????????

No question is a "stupid question" if thats what you are indirectly tying to say! You dont have any obligation to answer anyones questions if you dont like them! Just simply move on to a more complex inquiry if thats your cup of T!

Because the forum gets watered down with the same question and answer on EVERY page, which also makes it harder for people with legitimate questions that aren't clearly answered on the paperwork to get help :|
