You mean CSE? if so yes. My wife's original copy of diploma was not included in her translation so I raised a CSE to include that.

Also, my wife hasn't received her PCC yet and I submitted her confirmation of application for PCC to my EE application. For that, I got another request letter to send in the PCC within 60 days.

But this request is for me to release information about my application to someone. It's not directed at my wife or child!

So, this is the problem. This happened to me when i applied for my student permit.

When you are filling out application of your dependents there is a question that asks if you would like to nominate a representative. You have to nominate yourself, otherwise any thing you submit on their behalf cannot be submitted without this form of representative. Now that I think about it, I made the same mistake again in the my EE form submission too .

So basically if you want to submit something for your wife, you need to ask your wife to make the submission herself or you can submit the form imm5745 and then submit on behalf of your wife.

As per my understanding, only one person has the access (legally) to profile and that is the principal applicant. So principal applicant should be the one communicating with IRCC.

There might be another reason for which IRCC has asked to submit that additional form.

If you think about representative, then the representative is a third person not identified in the application. ( like some consultant, lawyer, friend or a relative, who can communicate with IRCC on behalf of your application). The principal applicant is by default the representative of all dependents on application.

sure you can, I myself got it in 19 days last year, but that was a trend that time for 10% of the applications. so you can say that very few applications still have a chance to be processed in a month or 2.

Maybe some special scenarios where the applicant is granted PR quickly..... all guesses who knows

In the form it says that this is not the same as a representative:

Complete this form if you authorize Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to release information from your case file to someone other than yourself

However, he or she will not be a representative who can conduct business with CIC and CBSA On Your Behalf. If you wish to pray
represented, you must complete and submit form Use of a Representative (IMM 5476).

How can I find out if I am assigned a case officer and if so how to contact them?

Were you the one who submitted your wife's documents?

If you didn't specify then you can't submit on her behalf even if you are principal applicant.

The one thing I had done was i had made a mistake on the form for my wife. I had her first name as last and last name as first.

I sent IRCC an email about it and they asked me to fill this form out first before asking about my wife because they cannot overtly or covertly reveal my wife's information unless I have nominated myself as her representative.

This is my understanding based on my experience. Bear in mind, i was the principal applicant but i had not check marked the box and specified myself as her representative.

Medicals Passed - December 3rd

Background check has been processing since medicals have passed. I also applied for a BOWP but have not heard anything back from that either. Both applications have now been processing for 40 days.

You will most likely get 'medical passed' update by Monday or Tuesday.

Hi,pls help me, whats going on with my application, i have paid RPRF fee upfront in 15/12/2017
but again in 13/december/2018 ask me to pay RPRF fee again, even i have the receipt of that fee which i paid in 2017, and yesterday i paid again this fee...any one could tell me which stage is my application now ? when i recived my parents ppr ? this is which i received after payment the fee yestarday.
