Received an Email from CIC this morning confirming me the UCI and File Number. But I tried checking it on ECAS but it didn't work. Thanks God atleast they've started to work on my wife's file.

I've been reading good news here and there! Most are receiving their AORs, SAs, and PPRs! Yay! I pray that 2017 will bring us renewed hope and faster processing times!! Haha. May the good Lord always guide us all in this journey!

Do any one know how to check or application status. I read some where that we can see the status only after getting AOR 2? Is that correct? I just sent my application 2 days before so it may be too early but just wanted to make sure.

Hi. I was able to link my application with my CIC account after 7 days of submitting it.. But you can try, use the option where it asks you to type your last name and personal details.

Good luck. I was able to link it on my 9th try. You can only have 5 tries in 24 hours..

So happy! I was able to link my app to my CIC account without the UCI number just yet!!

Seems like AOR because they've given me both the File Number and UCI.
Experts may correct me if I'm wrong here.

Yep.. But only after a week was I able to link it.. And on my 9th try.

I say, give it a week too before linking it, but sure you can try linking it without the UCI option.

My status says 'Open' and the eligibility review has not started..

You can also try now. I have provided my personal details like passport info, place of birth, etc. Put 2 when it asks you the number of applicants. Good luck!
