Anyone got AOR2 from your local VO? My SA mentioned file has been transferred to Singapore, now they added 3rd line that they have started processing PR on 18th Jan. Haven't received any AOR from Singapore VO. Shouldn't I technically receive AOR2 from Singapore VO?

This morning I noticed on ecas that my husbands permanent residence application now says in process. There is only 1 line though that says they received it on November 13, 2015. It switched from received to in process sometime overnight

I might be quite the dreamer but someone from the October thread already got through to decision made ... maybe just maybe, we will all be reunited with our loved ones by the summer :)

Patiently waiting to log into ecas...

Hoping you are all enjoying your Saturdays...

Wow yeah, that would be amazing. We're dreaming for that too.

My weekend is so so, someone hacked my bank card back home and spend some money. This is the bank account I keep some money back in my country and I used card to shop maybe 4-5 times in one year and it still was hacked. Crazy :o and I noticed by accident, it is rare I check this account, so probably at the end of the month it would have been empty.
The reason why I am telling you this story is: if your loved ones after they finally will move to Canada still decides to keep some accounts back home, or property, or anything - get The power of attorney. I recommend to give someone you trust (parents, sisters, brothers, etc.) the power of attorney to all institutions that in cases of emergency it is much easier to deal locally than from Canada by phone or even to fly back. It is rare that we get rid of all the ties with our home countries, so it is nice to know that someone can take care of business while we are away. In my case I think it was the best investment ever to get power of attorney, my dad was able to fix situation at the early stage with the bank and I don't need to worry being far away with my blocked card :) Of course, it needs to be someone you completely trust :)

So I checked this morning again, the status changed form "Application Received" to "In Process" now, but I don't have a 3rd line yet saying when they start processing the case, so I guess it just arrived at the VO but no one had worked on the case yet correct?
