I got an interesting update this morning.

They've removed our daughter from our application because "a person who has the right to Canadian citizenship cannot be sponsored." Apparently, even though I wasn't born in Canada (my dad was), since I was already a citizen when my daughter was born, she still qualifies even though she was born outside of Canada.

Good news, but I hope they still think she qualifies when I submit citizenship paperwork.

I just got the same email this past monday. I was an idiot and didnt realize my citizenship was passed on to my daughter. I just received an email informing me my refund is processed.

Got a early morning gift from CIC today. Got my SA at 7:30AM; YAY.
Feels amazing now that the file is actually transfered over to VO.

Once I submit that application; does anyone knows how long it usually takes before I hear back from them?

I was told in the app it says 25 days

Congrats Owl29, just curious, does that means your application had already arrived at the oversea VO?

I saw in my ECAS this morning Permanent Residence Application Status In Process however my Sponsorship Application Status still says in Process im assuming it is since i live in QC and im waiting for the selection du Quebec to be completed. But i don't see any lines on my ECAS saying my app started processing on X date...Guess just have to wait.

I am joining November Applicant Thread. I have applied for my wife in November, they received application on Nov 03. I see the third line today when I click "In Process" of Permanent residence.

We received *******'s application for permanent residence on November 3, 2015.
We started processing ******'s application on January 18, 2016.
Medical results have been received.
