Hello all,
I have sent my spousal application to Mississauga on 20th Nov-2015,

Haven't got any Email regarding Sponsorship Approval or UCI or anything else, how am I even going to know if they have received my application and started working on it.

Canada Post says its been delivered though.

Did anyone sent file around the date and received any email, reply, SA so far ?

When did Canada post show delivery date? That'll be your 'Application Filed' date. Join us on the November spreadsheet, link in my signature, its a great way to keep track of what dates CPC-M is working on.

Received SA today [Jan 19th].

When Did you submit your application ? and was it at Mississauga ?

And yes it was at Mississauga, I believe all outland applications go there for sponsorship approval, and then are forwarded to the respective local VO, which in my case is Manila, since my wife is from the Philippines.

So I called CIC this morning, they said on Jan 15 I am already approved for being a sponsor and they will be mailing my case to the oversea VO and will be sending me a confirmation email and a letter too. Just curious how long does it take to get this confirmation email or mail once after I am approved? I did check my email nothing come up from my inbox and spam box.

Congrats to you. I got my SA through email on Monday and I got the letter in the mail last night. You should be getting it really soon

Called CIC now and came to know that the AOR/SA approval processing time has changed to 69 days. With economy slowing down, they seem to go proportional.

Received AOR 2 from my spouse visa office today!!!... long wait game starts.. :-[ :-[

Hurrayyyyyyy got my AOR1 about 18:59 Nigerian time. I so much thank God for it, at least now I know they got my file.
I also thank all other forum members for their words of courage nd wisdom.

I got an interesting update this morning.

They've removed our daughter from our application because "a person who has the right to Canadian citizenship cannot be sponsored." Apparently, even though I wasn't born in Canada (my dad was), since I was already a citizen when my daughter was born, she still qualifies even though she was born outside of Canada.

Good news, but I hope they still think she qualifies when I submit citizenship paperwork.
