At least some good news today.. I wasn't sure it will work, but I am happy it did. So I guess SA is next for you ;DSivakumar santhanam said:Holy Crap.. It did worked.. i am able to login and my wife application is received and in process.. but No AOR so farrr.. Thank u so much.......... happy day
Some people, who extended visitors visa before or had other "relationships" with CIC have their UCI already.kiwi01 said:Exactly, how can you have a UCI without AOR? Do you mean the receipt number?
I can't tell you that, as I received AOR myself, so I used application number to log in. Maybe you are not yet in the system and you will receive AOR by email soon.ayrazar said:My husband (applicant) has a UCI from his VR but nothing shows up if we use it and his DOB. Should we try his and my (sponsor) DOB? Someone told me it'll be a different UCI
The UCI on your AOR is different than your husband's UCI from his VA. On the AOR, they will have a UCI and also an application #.ayrazar said:My husband (applicant) has a UCI from his VR but nothing shows up if we use it and his DOB. Yes, that is exactly my thinking as well. You have to be in the system to access info on Ecas. It took me almost 8 weeks to receive my AOR and then about 2 weeks later I received SA.Owl29 said:I can't tell you that, as I received AOR myself, so I used application number to log in. I offered this option only to people who were suppose to receive AOR long time ago and have UCI number, as sometimes CIC just don't send an AOR email.
Maybe Sivakumar santhanam will tell you more how he was able to log in.
But don't panic, I am pretty sure your AOR is on its way. Even after I received an email I wasn't able to log in for few days.
Edit: I just noticed you are December applicant, so it will take time as most of November applicants are still waiting for their AOR
If you ever applied for a Visitor extension or have a Visitor record, you will have a UCI. The UCI that is assigned to you from your PR application will be different. Once you are in the system (receive AOR) you can access Ecas with either of those UCI's.kiwi01 said:Exactly, how can you have a UCI without AOR? Do you mean the receipt number?
I have UCI number because i came here in Work permit initially and then became permanent resident. You might not able to see anyting if your application process not started. Please use sponsor person UCI id to login.TracyCa64 said:The UCI on your AOR is different than your husband's UCI from his VA. On the AOR, they will have a UCI and also an application #.
When the application is in process you will be able to look it up using either the AOR UCI, your husband's UCI from VR, Receipt # from payment, or the Application # from the AOR. Nothing will work if they haven't started the processing though. Now that I have AOR & SA, I can look mine up using all of these options. If you think you should have your AOR and haven't received it, you can try your husband's VR UCI or receipt #. I have read that some members don't even get an AOR and when they try it with the receipt # it works. This is all from my experience too, everyone's might be different.
Should you also use sponsor name, dob etc or the applicants?Sivakumar santhanam said:I have UCI number because i came here in Work permit initially and then became permanent resident. If you are in the system and you use the applicant's UCI (from VR) then you would use their info. If you use the UCI from the AOR then you would use the sponsor's info. I tried it with my info (I am the applicant) and nothing came up.vigu360 said:Should you also use sponsor name, dob etc or the applicants?
Interesting, mine works with my info but it doesn't show as much as when I put in my sponsor's info.TracyCa64 said:If you are in the system and you use the applicant's UCI (from VR) then you would use their info.
