She read though the notes and was able to tell me which form is missing, and she said she put a request over to the officer to resend that email to me. They even confirmed the correct gmail account that I have, so I dont understand why I never got it.

generally, before sponsor approval, any communication would be sent to the email the SPONSOR used in their application. are you checking the correct email for the letter (it will not be sent to the applicant)? also, make sure to check the spam folder.

My app was Nov 21st, and I didn't get any notification of anything. Called them last week and told me a form is missing and notification was sent on the 12. She said its in the mail, so keep waiting. Called them this week, since it never came, and the CIC agent told me it was sent via email. :-\

Anyways, she gave me the file# and she said "She would" send it to the address I sent my application to or wait till I get a notification from the agent again.

So you had a missing form? You never sent them this form which they are requiring now? The reason I am asking this is because I want to know if they have lost it or you didn't send them the form to begin with...

Congrats for SA finally. Sorry to hear about London VO. Mine will take 16 months, and it's a complicated file so I suspect I'll be in this discussion for a good while... at least you have company. =)

I called CIC today and came to know that my application is under additional verification so normal processing time does not apply. Looks like its gonna take long time just to get the approval or any information

Was this the first time you called them?
Normal processing time had passed anyway...so if they had told you they were still reviewing your application, was it making any difference for you? No! Same thing.
Plus I don't understand what verification do they need for sponsor's approval!? Sponsors need to have a few simple requirements which most of the people do!
They haven't told me anything like that yet but they will probably when I call them tomorrow!

Yes, this was the first time i called since i have not received any information other than application was received on Nov 12, 2014. I was told that my application is under additional verification and normal processing time does not apply to me. I am not sure exactly what this means. I asked how long will it take for additional verification and i was told that they do not have any information. I don't know if this is normal. I don't think i have missing documents or anything.

I got my UCI number able to check my own status on ECAS checker (Android apps).
Status : application received on 21 Nov 2014 and Med Rec'd
I am the lucky one my application smooth sailing.

Yes it's ok. Your sponsor will receive one or the other. So the email is fine, they most likely will not send a letter since they sent your sponsor an email. Just have your sponsor save the email and print off a copy for his records.

we sent our application Oct. 7 and per courier and the agent it was received oct. 8

when we checked our ecas application received was Nov. 19 so I guess that made me a november applicant...gonna start following and reading this thread.

SA- feb. 15, 2015...still waiting for the SA email or mail.

I am using e-CAS checker android Free of charge. Very good app easy to use.
I saved all information of my UCI/ surname/ place of Birth/ Place of Birth
Just click : Continue
CAS the same data as CIC website

I click continue buttom more than 10 times a day!

Highly recommended!
