I called CIC today and came to know that my application is under additional verification so normal processing time does not apply. Looks like its gonna take long time just to get the approval or any information :( Has this happened to anyone?

No update this week too on my case status. :( Not how how long it would take just to get the approval for sponsorship.

I was Nov 12th applicant. No updates yet.

Seems like you and I are on same page. Its very frustrating. Calling them everyday is not going to speed up the application process. We have no choice other than waiting. Hope we will get some good news soon.
