Unfortunately it is serious....let us hope it doesnot affect much..why? becoz its average not MEDIAN
Let me tell you a straneg property of Averaging the sample...and it can be deceptive AT TIMES, not always,,..Average doesnot represent Centre value all the time...as an example for simple understanding
let say there are 5 files (Cases A,B,C,D,E) in VO finalized in 2014, with varying corresponding completion time, and now computer has to give the avg. processing time of VO
Case A 10 months
Case B 6 months
Case C 8 months
Case D 26 months
Case E 30 months
so the avg. processing time of total cases will be 16 months, however one can see that more than 50% cases (Case A, B, C) were solved wilth an avg. processing time of 8 months...so it can be deceptive at times...
(Also VO accounts 80% of the cases rules when they calculate Avg. time, so they try to beat these data OUTLIERS to some extent). Well maybe it will give us guys a ray of hope...
Anyway bitter fact is LVO avg. time surpassed the 1 year time and its now almost 2.5 years....
