November 2014 Outland Applications

Hey everyone...
I waited for my SA and did not received any email or snail mail so I called CIC this morning. They told me that an email was sent to me on Jan. 27 with my SA. They also advised me to check the ecas. My ecas just shows decision made. But I am happy that my file is its way to VO and hopefully the second stage will be quicker.

NB..I delete my spam mail without checking them and probably deleted the email by accident. All in all I am happy this first stage is now complete.

For those of you (November aplicants) that have received both AOR and SA these past few days, would you please be able to let us know that your ECAS is also reflecting the new changes? (or does it still say "application received"?)

Mine says 'decision made' for sponsorship application status and 'application received' for permanant residence application status.

But my AOR came from Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca. But it does say DO NOT REPLY

I must admit when I look at the spreadsheet it is causing severe anxiety, as although I got my AOR on the 15th, I still haven't got my SA, so everyone around me is dark blue except me....... I am the same as you, Jennylee... And to make matters worse, I am not in Canada at the moment (I'm visiting my husband), so I can't call CIC personally.
I guess we should wait a few more days to see some results... Patience, right?

Thanks for the number, FAB. I just called from Brazil and the number worked but when I got to the end, after entering all sorts of numbers and information on the phone, before I got transferred to an actual person, the recording said that "due to the high volume of calls at the moment, we are unable to transfer you to agent".
Thanks anyway. I will just wait a few more days, I guess. It seems like they are moving along.

I'm calling long distance on my Canadian cell so it does get expensive. I am not going to call again until next week. I will patiently wait a few more days to see how things develop for the other applicants around my same date (Nov. 5th). I am confident everything is ok.

I use magicjack on iphone or ipad and it's free to Canada with wifi
