Hi guys, I send my request checking my file was received or not last month, and I just received the reply, saying "All required documents are on file. You will be contacted shortly regarding a decision on your file."
does that mean I had decision made or is it just a general reply?

I have faxed the updated schedule A for my spouse just now. Now fingers crossed.
Also, I dont understand why they asked for PCC again for us. They recd it on 22/May/2014. Is it possible they lost it?

same thing happened to me dear. We sent our RCMP checks on June 3. And on June 11, that is just a week after, we got an email to send it again.

I believe they received it but it did not reach the agent who is handling our case. Well, I just couriered them a letter and also faxed it saying we have already submitted it.

Now I am just waiting to see when my status changes to IP.

The Indian PCC that I submitted was issued to me on NOV 2013. I did not have it at the time when I submitted my application in October.

I submitted it just now when they asked me which is this month(June).

Does anyone have any idea if it will be okay with them because it was issued in NOV 2013.

Yes all PCCs are valid for 1 year from date of issue.

But I read somewhere that it does not have to be more than 3 months old from the date of submission.

And I guess ours will take a bit more time to get in ' IP' since we both have spouses.

what i read that it should be received by CIC within 3 months from its issuance date , if so the validity will be one year from the issuance date.

let's hope that they accept it ..

Yes you are right.your Pcc validatity should not be more than 3 months the date of application received .

You'll probably have to submit a new PCC because it was issued in Nov.2013 & you submitted in June. SO to save time you better apply for a new one that's my suggestion.

Well said Rockybombastic and prprpr. We are not here to express our frustrations but rather be realistic and patient while helping each other. Good news is definitely around the corner, especially when all the legs have been completed AOR>MEDICAL>RPRF>SCHEDULE A>RCMP CLEARANCE etc. - it's only a matter of time.. FIFA is certainly a BIG TIME stress reliever..lol

Yes Fifa is the best thing to do while waiting for PR ... Helping each other will make things easy for us.

I agree with you PR is privilege from Canada. UkCJ is probably just having a bad day and a melt down. Hang in there UKCJ good news is around the corner. And people cut UKCj some slack. Forum is not the place to lash out on each other. we are here to help each other and support each other while we wait for this painstakingly long procedure.

Thanks Prprpr... I knw he is having bad day and thats why gave him the pointers on how it can be useful to UKCJ. Inshallah everyone of us gets PR soon and then we will be over this thing.. meantime FIFA is game. I loved how Netherlands won the game against Spain.
