I got my MR on 13th May for myself only whereas I have applied for PR for me and my wife. My submission date is 5th Nov 2013. on 14th May I got RPRF and I paid the fee today for both of us i.e. 2 X 490 = CAD 980.

My concern is related to MR for my wife - is that normal that only principal applicant gets the MR and spouse won't or will get later ?

Please advise.

Thanks,

Did your wife do medical exam within this one year? Maybe for a work permit or other application?

Have you tried checking PP to see if VOs already created an entry for your wife in emed?

Yes, she applied for WP and got her Medicals done in Oct 2013 - this could be the reason for her not getting any MR request ? also, in general, does spuse gets their MR along with principal applicant ?

Also, when you said - checking PP to see if VOs already created an enrty - what do you mean exactly ? Please elaborate for me to understand.

Thanks,

Yeah medical exam result for WP is valid for a year and can be re-used for CEC PR application, so most likely they are using that.

Sometimes, when Visa Officer (VO) created an entry on e-medicals, they are queueing the automatic email for future sending, which could be in few days or few weeks. Few times, the email could be sitting idle or lost somewhere. When that e-medicals entry were created, Panel Physician can check if your entry is there. So you can ask them before scheduling an appointment there, even before you got the email. This way, you won't lose any effective time...

Hello, can we pay landing fee with a credit card? Thanks.

Hey Guys congrats for the people who got MR.

Did anybody got RCMP & finger prints recently? It's not mandatory for all right?

If CIC does not request the fingerprint check, then it is not required.
