I will be travelling fr next few weeks. Need to apply for BOWP on 28th May since My work permit is getting expired on 28th Sep.
I was just wondering if I can apply after coming back in Mid june ( who knows I may get PPR by that time )

You can apply a bridging work permit within 4 months of existing work permit expiry. So if your work permit expires on the 28th Sept . You can even apply end of August if needed. Normally it takes 10 days of processing and 2 days shipping if you process it online.

Its weird how they are processing the apps. Nov 1st apps are still waiting while nov8th are getting MR's.
I am Nov 8th - App received...hope that mine should come soon as another Nov 8th got his MR.

Maybe you can try checking with your PP if they already have your file on emed. If that's the case, you can proceed without waiting for MR. There is a chance that the emed file has been created by the VOs but your MR email has been automatically queued to be sent in near future (couple of days or weeks). That way hopefully you can efficiently save some time there~

Guys, I am also November applicant. Application received on Nov 7th and AOP on Dec 10th. Still waiting for MR/RPRF

I moved to India after my work permit expired and updated CIC of my residential address change through email. Will this in any way affect the processing time. I am concerned now.
