Issuing T4 is based upon the employer, so the T4 issuing time varies with employer to employer.

Tax pocesing already started and I have submitted mine on feb 10 and yes you will get NOA after filing your Taxes

Question for ppl who submitted or have NOA for 2013...

How did you get NOA 2013 so soon? I received my T4 2013 couple of days back, will I get NOA 2013 if I file my taxes for 2013?

I was under the assumption that the tax processing and NOA issuing takes place after April 30...

Hello Guys,

Yes we should send T4 & NOA of 2013 since this is an update that they want to consider and there is NO harm at all… as in my opinion it also assures the VO that we worked in 2013 and the total income printed on T4 and NOA would be an easy reference for the VO to verify the eligibility for PR. Since, our Experience letter and T4’s Income should match.

Also, about NOA 2013 since I received my T4 from the company way back in 4th week of December 2013 so I applied my Taxes on 17th Jan 2014. And upon my enquiry on 7th Feb 2014 to CRA they said that they have started analyzing the E-Tax files from 1st week of Feb and I should hear get my tax-file assessed within 10-12 working days and after waiting until today I logged on to CRA’s website online and found they assessed my Tax-File and issued my return and NOA.

Hence, I emailed CPC and also mailed them (Photocopies of T4 2013 & NOA 2013) physically since I have to update them with my PCC which I received last week.

I am also planning mine on 2nd week of April 2014.

Seems like it is a good idea to send 2013 tax documents. I only have T4 available right now. Few questions:

1 - Can I just send T4 or do I have to wait till I get NOA and send everything together? (I still have to file my taxes so it could be a while)

2 - If I understand correctly, I can send the 'scanned' T4 version via email to CIC (following instructions posted by iam_toby). Do we need to mail the hard copy as well?

3 - This would be my first email to CRA. In addition to the required identification information in the email, what should I mention? Do I just say this is the T4 for 2013 or I should explain a bit that so far I only have T4 and will send NOA later when available? etc.

BTW - I did send my 2012 T4 and NOA with my application in Nov 2013, and got AOR in Dec 2013.

Send the T4 if you already have it.

No, email is enough. They don't require the original document.

You mean first email to CIC? Yes, mention all the information lined out on my website and tell them to update your file with the
document you attached.

BTW - I did send my 2012 T4 and NOA with my application in Nov 2013, and got AOR in Dec 2013.

No Gladaki I hvn't applied for my GCMS notes yet....
But, since I am taking vacation and visiting my parents I thought it would be very easy and worthwhile to do it upfront e-meds.
As Im_toby is an Sep'13 applicant and he scheduled his upfront e-meds next month.

Also, since I m early Nov'13 applicant and looking to current pace of processing CEC files by CIC we may kick-off MRs somewhere end of April & beginning of May.
