Hi Folks,

I just got my GCMS notes saying "Eligibility: In Progress", and the details are as follows:

"Recommend Passed" sounds good. However, this updated is on Sep 23, 2013, just 4 days following AOR. So does it matter too much about the final decision?

Besides, at the end of GCMS notes:"CEC FILE REVIEWED BY C&I Case Processing Agent. PA's file has been reviewed under Canadian Experience Class category. It appear: -PA has qualifying employment at 0, A or B skill level for at least 12 months in the last 36 months; -PA has Language Proficiency at the required CLB based on NOC skill level; -Temporary Resident status was maintained during qualifying period of work. CEC REQUIREMENTS APPEAR TO BE MET. Letter of reference related to work experience on file-not verified to CPPO for further assessment/decision.

I am wondering about this GCMS, looks like application was applied in september and eligibility was decided in a week, Are these notes by CIO at intial screening?

yes its look like but they are getting late medical request as per my study one case of mohamad from 20th june month case still waiting for medical request as his gcms say recommended pass very early after applying so not sure what happening.

if u get married you need to mail them about it and need to send details for your wife..(spuse forms)...you can probably get her on visitor permt or get her and yours Medicals done in INDIA (its cheap)

married in court as early as possible take marrage certificate add your name in passport its take less than month than send your wife passport and marrage certificate and explanation letter send by email to ottawa.

is there is significant reduce in processing times? As per forum Feb2014 people are getting AOR in 27 days. Also PPR is close to 8 month..?
Medicals I assume in 6 months..

Yes now CIC doing very fast.after changing rules from Nov 2013

u never know...but you do realise that from november 2013 they also cant reject the applicants without asking for updates. for example in case of doubt of NOC doesnot match job duties they are required to ask applicants if they can provide updated letters ...i assume it will get the process slow may be

when you get ur gcms note pleas let us know i am planning to apply my second note in April beginning

Me too I applied a day after your i.e. 25 Feb. So m waiting for it and after receiving it I shall take an Upfront E-Meds appointment on my visit to india.

Referring to a post in this forum and reading the above comments I believe that after the new rules CEC is doing more checks during initial review before AOR. So processing should be faster.

My application returned today saying wrong NOC code. App recvd 13 Nov and i got it back today by regular post to india. They sent on Dec 10 but postal delivery took 2 months which cost me 2 months Sad I will fix and send it back in another 3 days. Thank you all and bye bye will join Feb 2014 forum soon. Let me know if any information needed.
