So for those of you who have finished the process, how long after your passport request did you receive your COPR?!

hello Lindissa,
For Delhi it is kind of different, they requested passport early in march..and Visa granted in April....
in the letter they mentioned, to expedite the process they collecting passports.... :) check out my timeline, hopefully better idea...

ps. I am from lower mainland too....
if you guys ever come to the Richmond Night market (by ikea), do meet up and say hello, my friend and I have a corn cart by the stage area, it would be nice to meet fellow members here, and we all know how we pass this time when we waiting for the application...please don't take it as I am marketing anything, just saying that it would be a great stage to meet and greet...

We got an email today saying that London is looking for more info! Good and bad at the same time I guess.

I e-mailed the visa office in Los Angeles last week just to confirm that they have the right contact information for me just because of what happened with our sponsorship approval, and in the message I asked if they needed anything extra from me. I haven't heard anything yet but I'm waiting still and hoping that just for time and waiting purposes i don't get a request for extra documents, otherwise i'm kind of interested in what else they might ask from me, i'm not really sure there's that much more detail about our relationship that hasn't already been included, without getting too personal lol

your app got jammed up in process before so it is good you are watching that doesn't happen again but it will be just fine.

oh yeah and congratulations to jainanchal! : )

Hello everyone!
I hope all is well!

Question: how do I make and attach a spreadsheet here on the forum?
Thanks!

And good luck to all! <3

ECAS changed to "Decision Made" today. CIC seems to be chugging along on the November CPP-O apps!

Yup we're out in Maple Ridge! I've been to the night market out in Richmond, so cool and mmmmm food!! I was trying to convince my wife to more closer to the city BUT we want to start trying to get pregnant next year and we can have way more space for less money out this way, which is probably better if we have a kid lol. My city friends are like, "The burbs, ugh!" but I like it out here. We've got a great farmers market, lots of plays and artsy things and some nice eateries as well. We can still get to the city if we need to lol

House and space is definitely better for kids. We live in an apartment and my kids are driving the downstairs neighbors crazy (and they're driving me crazy me crazy with their complaints - ugh). BTW, if you're going to get US citizenship for your future kids, look into what's required for Consular Report of Birth Abroad. They have specific requirements if you use IVF. Good luck!

what else were they looking for?

I got a Decision Made today after going 'in Process' on 22 April.

Not bad going in London since I only got sponsorship approval on 11 Feb!

Hubs overstayed a vistors visa once - we were pretty clear about that in the application but I guess they want more info that he wasn't working without a visa (he wasn't - I was supporting him)
