Hello November Applicants.
I have been watching your thread and am hoping every day to see some movement for those that have been waiting since the beginning of November... I hope you all hear something soon.

Just an FYI... I saw on another thread that jktokyo... I think that is the name... rec'd sponsorship approval.

That person may only be following the other thread now

OK now the spreadsheet should be working properly again - the only change that you can see should be the "odd numbers" that used to be there - 41677 etc... I got rid of them, but normally the calculation should still be correct. if you see something that is not correct, please let me know and I'll have a look at it.

We got an email from CIC today saying that our application has been received. Yay!! I hope this means that they have now started working on the sponsor eligibility portion of the sponsorship..? From what I have been reading on forum, we should receive another email once CIC have made a decision on my sponsor's eligibility, right?
I'm so excited to finally hear back and know that the ball is rolling

You are right. Your application is now in the system and they will be reviewing it soon. Th timeframe I have seen is a day to 2 weeks from the AOR. So best guess it depends on your IO! But you will either recieve an email or letter confirming your sponsor approval. For me it went to decision made on my ecas and then took a week for the letter to arrive!

I have been trying to access ECAS unsuccessfully. They sent us a new UCI in this email (different from the one I had been using for study/work permits prior). Whenever I enter the UCI (or other methods, like file # or Receipt #) along with my information (DOB, last name etc), it says "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided." It is MY information I need to be entering, not my sponsors, right?

Two weeks processing sounds good. I'll hope for that (can't believe some people got it in a day!!).
I'll keep you posted
