They said there were two ceremonies that day. One at 10:30am and the other at 1:30pm. I wasn't given a choice, they just said I was booked for 10:30am. Maybe see you there :-)

Oath date received! July 12 in Vancouver is the big day.

Received an email this morning about Oath Ceremony....as they won't hold an Oath Ceremony at our itinerant office for another 6 months, they gave a choice of dates to do the Oath in Vancouver. Responded to the email right away with first and second choice...hurray!!! The finish line is in sight!

I have 1222 and just seen someone add to Sept applicants that has 1250. The "when to apply" is such a variable thing...everyone's circumstances are different. I think we are completely normal :-)

Maybe we need to ask one of the Admins to do that??? Not sure who/how to ask...

It is returning Canadian citizens or residents who have been absent for a year or more, that are required to have owned the vehicle for 6 months in order to bring it into Canada duty free. I have never seen that requirement for a new PR.

Can anyone that has already received their PR card tell me what number appears on your card? Is it one of the application/file numbers used on e-cas? the document number from your COPR? or a new number altogether? Thanks!
