Yayyyyy! I hadn't seen this before, I was hoping to find other November Applicants!
We are also applying now in November, I can't send any private messages yet and our file hasn't been received either but I hope at some point RM15 can add us to the spreadsheet

We also did our application on our own and it reached the VO on November 2, 2012. But right now they are still looking at applications received on September 28, 2012. I am guessing our application will be looked at in December but then we have Christmas and Boxing day. All this waiting is killing me, not knowing if I managed to provide all the information.....glad we can talk on here ....GOOD LUCK to ALL of US!!

I know!! I wonder how long their Christmas break is...hopefully we all have sent everything necessary for them to process the applications!

Hi all! Glad to see this group coming together! We are putting the finishing touches on our application and my spouse and his son are having medicals done tomorrow...we hope to have our package mailed off within a week. I will message to have us added to the spreadsheet once we are on our way.

I'm pretty good technically, but I seem to be at loss as to how I update my profile...would like to get a picutre/flag up and post our timeline details. I can't seem to find how to do that...your assistance will be appreciated

you'll be able to send private messages and edit the information on your profile once you reached 10 posts - so basically as soon as you answer on this thread, you will be able to edit the information (add your VO etc on the left) and also send PM to others in the forum.

good work on the spreadsheet, it looks really good! well done.
Just for you to be aware - new comers to the forum can not send private messages until they have posted 10 times, so their only option to give you the information is to post here publicly. It's a bit more work to follow up for you, as you need to keep reading etc, but it gets better over time (by the time the AOR and sponsorship approval start coming in, most people would have posted at least ten times, to express frustration, support others, inform what is going on etc - then your life becomes easier! ).

hi all! can i join this group? we decided to move to canada in august, moved in october, sent the application in november. we did the form ourselves, found errors 2-3days after, sigh...anyways, until they contact us for something, no more visa work!

Congrats on getting the application sent in - and received! now the wait begins - but it seems that CIC is picking up the pace for stage 1, so hopefully you won't have to wait too long!
