I called again and got another "call in one month to see whether we found your file or not". I have no idea what to do, I'm desperate. Suggestions?

I would probably start collecting the information you need to apply again. I hope you kept copies of most things. I know some things you can't use the copies for....I am so sorry this is happening to you :(.

We're doing what we did last year, getting dressed up, preparing the same meal from the same recipe, pulling up a table to the webcam, and eating together. Then afterward probably stream the same movie. It's the best we can do in the situation, and it makes it feel different than our usual nightly chat. I am looking forward to it.

Wish so much we could be in person....

I'm just reading through the different threads and came cross this post.....

Amazing! It literally brought a tear of happiness to me. Such a Sweet and amazing thing to do with your love!

My husband and I often " watch" tv together and have talked about "having dinner" together over Kyle....you have just inspired me to make it happen instead f just talking about It!

Enjoy your date and happy valentines day!

I did save a copy of everything... And I have already started collecting the documents to restart from the beginning. I just don't think it's fair for me to have to wait for the entire processing time again if the mistake wasn't mine. I have the confirmation of delivery of my file and still they say there's no trace of it anywhere.

They don't tell me what to do next, they just tell me to wait - and that's what drives me nuts. I wanted to know whether I have to follow any administrative step before suing them in justice. There's no answer whatsoever to our questions, just a stupid "wait for 15 days more" every 15 days.

Does anyone know of anything I can do?

It'll cost me about 500 dollars to build another file like the other one, if I have to take the medicals again (and it appears that people in the same situation have been obliged to do so). I will want to recover this extra expense they generated by their mistake. Do you have any ideas?

I'm happy for all of you who are advancing in your processes, I don't wish the anguish I am living now for anyone.

@yuomap1120, Thank you very much, and also for updating the spreadsheet

@sundae18, I received the sponsorship approval on 12-Jan-2012 and that is when the file was transferred to New Delhi. My spouse received the PPR on 04-Feb-2012 so it was very quick. I'm hoping that the visa gets issued just as fast.

That soooooo amazing! Congrats! LOL I highly doubt my vo will move that fast (they r notoriously slow) that still gives everybody hope.

Thanks for your help! I just don't know who I should contact, how does one contact an MP? I've looked for this info all over the Internet and found nothing.

Find your local MP's name and he must have an office in your city. Just show up there. Most of them have websites these days, and you can grab their email address and email them the whole thing.
