We applied Nov 14th and delivered 18th. No information available on E-CAS and can't call the CIC help desk because we are in korea. The embassy here just give me a voice recording. I sent e-mails to CIC and Embassy in Korea but says may get back to us. Any suggestions? Do you usually get an e-mail or just letter with sponsor approval?

I can't remember the specific number (so can't remember if it is the one posted above), but we did call twice to CIC offices (we don't live in Canada).

Today my husband finally received his AOR. But we're a bit bummed because we saw in the updated waiting times that Berlin went up 2 months (from 9 to 11). I know this is for 80% of cases, and that it does not mean that all times have gotten longer, but still... any "not-so-good" news at this very sensitive moment seems bad.

oh sorry sazid, that is so dissapointing. is this a similar case with agga? i hope you'll receive it soon and send it back right away after completing those missing thingie

i felt bad about what happened to your papers. just complete what's missing then hopefully u could file it again.. just a reminder, just follow the checklist that is provided by the CIC so you could have a guide in completing all the important requirements that should be present in your papers. i hope you can make it. Dont worry brother...Its unfortunte that it happened to you at a time when you are eagerly waiting for this to be over asap.

I have yet to receive anything! i'm getting very frustrated checking emails every day but nothing... Mine was Fedex on Nov 1st... can you guys advise what we should do?

@; infoseeeker, did you track your package with Fedex? usually CIC received the next day depend what type of service your did choose. This will give you an idea who signed for your package at CIC.

I'm in Singapore. which call center do I call? The one in Canada or go look for the High Commission in Singapore?

@; infoseeeker, You call the Canada one, if your package have not approved as a sponsor and have forwarded to Singapore. only time you contact Singapore is your file has been transfer to Singapore for Permanent Residence approval.

Hi All!

It was good news for me today. I managed to call up the Call Center in Canada and they managed to located my file. I was informed that they actually mailed me on Jan 23rd via snail mail!!! My goodness, all along we were waiting and waiting for email but nothing. I'm shocked to know why they would do that even though they had my email address. Even the helpful lady wasn't able to explain why they would do that. None the less, she told me I was approved as a sponsor and that now the package is in the Kuala Lumpur office for processing.

She gave me my client number and I was able to finally log and see the status. So as it turns out, many of you who have not received the emails, perhaps you too have been notified via snail mail! Thank you all for the help and good luck to us all!!!!

deepu3001 and sazid, I am so sorry your applications got returned. Hopefully, it will be a quick process once you supply the missing info and return it directly to the visa officer. Especially if all they are waiting on is something like a signature. I will continue to pray for this to go smoothly for you. Again, so sorry.
