Hi! I'm reading through the forum and learned PAL is a good sign and likely means eligibility passed. I got PAL along with medical exam request. Medical is passed but eligibility still shows not started on tracker. Wondering if it's normal? Getting worried because it's approaching holiday. TIA for any reply!!

Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing good. Just a quick question. I received my AOR and BIL for Non Express PNP on October 23rd 2024.

Biometrics submitted on October 24th 2024

After this, for additional documents section it says “We need additional documents to process your application. We will send you a letter or email with details”.

However, i have not received any letter or email for the same.

Can i know what can I do in this case as its been more than 15 days.

If you have not received a letter or email regarding the additional documents request after more than 15 days, you can take the following steps:
1. Check Your IRCC Account
Log into your IRCC account to ensure that you have not missed any messages. Sometimes, the letter might already be uploaded to your account under the “Messages” section.
2. Check Your Email (Including Spam/Junk Folders)
IRCC might have sent the communication to your registered email address. Ensure you check all email folders, including spam and junk, as emails from IRCC can sometimes end up there.
3. Contact IRCC Directly
You can use the IRCC Web Form to submit a query about the additional documents request. Provide your application number, name, and date of birth, and explain the situation. Mention that you noticed the status update but have not received the details yet. Here’s the link to the IRCC Web Form: IRCC Web Form.
4. Call IRCC (if in Canada)
If you are in Canada, you can call IRCC at 1-888-242-2100 to inquire about your application. Be prepared with your application details when you call.
5. Monitor Processing Times
While waiting for a response, monitor the processing times for your program to get an idea of how long other steps might take.
6. Check Your Junk Mail Preferences
To avoid missing future correspondence, add donotreply@cic.gc.ca and other official IRCC email addresses to your email safe list.
If you don’t receive a response within 30 days, follow up again through the web form or by phone. IRCC generally responds within 30 days for inquiries through the web form.

Wait for couple weeks more and you will get it . I think it’s waiting for officer to be reviewed and once it done , he will send BIL .

What you mean outside Canada? If you got ECOPR , you should be in Canada that time and your PR card will be automatically shipped to your address you provided in portal 2 email.
Ok. I am an outlander applicant and we are planning to land in Canada sometime in January 2025. Guess I will apply for my PR Card then.

First PR card application will be automatically started when you land/come to Canada and complete the process to become PR.
The address you provided to the officer there will be where the PR cards will be mailed.

Hello @Miss bee , I recently received my GCMS notes. In my security, it says it has not started and that the Security decision was referred to a cleared officer. All the other portions are completed and passed. Do you know what that means?

Ok. I am an outlander applicant and we are planning to land in Canada sometime in January 2025. Guess I will apply for my PR Card then.
When you land in Canada as a permanent resident, your PR card application is typically initiated automatically as part of the landing process at the port of entry (POE). Here’s how it works:

1. At the Port of Entry:

When you land, the immigration officer will confirm your permanent resident status and collect your address in Canada. This is essential for them to process and send your PR card.

2. Providing Your Canadian Address:

If you don’t have a Canadian address ready at the time of landing, you can provide it later using the IRCC web form. It’s crucial to submit this information promptly to avoid delays.

3. Processing Time:
Once your application is processed, your PR card will be mailed to the address you provided. Current processing times for PR cards can be checked on the IRCC website.
4. Important to Note:

• If you don’t provide a Canadian address within 180 days of landing, you’ll need to apply for a new PR card and pay the application fee.
• If there are any errors or delays, you can follow up with IRCC.

Hello @Miss bee hope you having a good day. I need your advice here.
While I need to submit the 5669 via web form I am confused about the signature part in the forms. Because of downloaded copy of IMM 5669 (05-2021) E. I need to submit 2 copy each for applicant and dependent ( spouse ) So Do I ( applicant )need to sign both copy ? or My spouse has to sign his copy ?

Hello @Miss bee can I have your advise on this please
For IMM 5669 (Schedule A – Background/Declaration), the signatures required depend on who the applicant is and who is completing the form:
1. For the Principal Applicant (you):
• You must sign your own copy of IMM 5669 to confirm the accuracy of the information provided.

2. For the Dependent (your spouse):

• If your spouse is an accompanying dependent (part of the application), they must complete and sign their own copy of IMM 5669.
Key Points:
• Each applicant or dependent (18 years or older) must complete and sign their individual copy of IMM 5669.
• You cannot sign your spouse’s copy, and your spouse cannot sign yours.
