@Miss bee
I submitted an application online. I found a misspell on mom family name. I am planning to submit the webform.

My question is this time since I have to fill in the pdf file. Do I need to print out and sign it, or just type full name on signature and submit webform?
Yes you should fill form again and submit it through webform .

@Miss bee

I am PR inland applicant, while my dependent(wife) is in India. We got a letter for passport submission for my wife. But it also shows below given message.
"You are not required to submit your passport and will be landed virtually. Please advise our office via webform within 5 days of receipt of this letter if you and/or any of your dependents are in Canada. Please include each person’s name/UCI and where they are currently staying/residing (in Canada or overseas). "

So, I am confused here how I can do virtual landing? I never generated the webform can you please direct me for raising webform?
For virtual landing as an inland applicant, IRCC typically asks for confirmation of your and your dependents’ location, which is why they provided the instructions in your passport submission letter. Your wife should submit passport through VFS global with the approval letter you got in your account. For you , you have to reply to portal 1 email you got with required information.

Hello @Miss bee,
hope you are doing well. We need you valuable advice & thank you in advance. Recently, our non express entry file got returned due to birth-certificate. Initially, we only submitted English translated birth certificate (which was properly notarized) but have not submitted government issued certificate because it was in our native language. Is it necessary to combine both copy and upload?
Is there any way we can request IRCC on webform and reconsider this document?

Below message received in email from IRCC
A review of your application indicates you do not meet the requirement of the instructions with respect to the completion of your application or, the requirements of Regulation (R) 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) because the following item(s) are missing:

  • A copy of the original version of a birth certificate for XXXXXXXXXXX Kotima

Regulation (12) of IRPA states:

“If the requirements of sections 10 and 11 are not met, the application and all documents submitted in support of the application shall be returned to the applicant.”

As your application does not meet the requirements of R 10 of IRPA, it is considered incomplete and is being returned to you along with your processing fee. A copy of your application has not been retained.

As per IRCC email:

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by the English or French translation completed by a certified translator, affidavit from the translator, and a copy of the original document. If any of the requested document(s) are not available, please submit a detailed written explanation.
Unfortunately you have to apply again. Make sure you check all forms again and all are up to date . Also change dates in all forms and then submit with proper documentation. You will go back in queue again from scratch. They won’t consider your reconsideration request. Better to reapply.

Hello @Miss bee , thank you so much for answering all my questions and providing clarity to us all. So , I finally got a Passport Request Letter Submission from IRCC on the 6th. We have mail our passports as demanded. What a journey it has been. I know it is not over yet, but we are thankful and hopeful. Please, do you have an idea of how long it take to get back our passports. We are outlander applicants. Thank you.

For outland applicants, passport processing times can vary depending on factors like the volume of applications at the processing office. Generally, after receiving a Passport Request Letter (PPR) and submitting passports, the return time can range from 2 to 6 weeks.
It’s a good idea to keep an eye on your online account or emails from IRCC for any updates. If you sent the passports through a VFS or another service, you might be able to track their status via the tracking ID.

Thank you so much. We sent it via DHL Courier to VFS global yesterday and I just checked the tracking number it shows it has been delivered today. So I will keep an eye on it then. Thank you for all you do here. Regards

Hi, Yes, you can raise a web form, write a letter, and explain to them to reconsider. One of the person got AOR within 3 weeks after sending the web form.

Hi @Miss bee,
I hope you’re doing well!

I have linked my non EE application to my GC Key account after AOR (August), and recently got my application into the tracker. I noticed that the information available in the tracker states that my Elegibility has not started.
However, I received PAL in Aug. 21, 2024.
I might be mixing things but I thought I read at this forum that PAL means that you passed elegibility. Can you please clarify?

Thank you so much!
And have a great weekend
